Australia adventure Part 1

So as promised here are some more pictures from Australia. Had such a great time. Such an experience! We did the whole trip on a serious budget so we stayed in hostels for the whole trip, except for Melbourne because we got to stay in an amazing apartment for free! The whole trip was a mix of coach rides, plane flights and roadtripping. We rented a car twice because it worked out cheaper with the people we were travelling with and that was our main source of transport. There is something so freeing about just driving in the countryside surrounded by nature and there is plenty of it in Australia. There is so much to tell about Australia but I will pick out the important bits. Visited 15 Cities and Towns is Oz and had plenty of stopovers in the smaller ones. Stayed in lots of places including Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney, Arlie beach, Angus waters, Byron bay, Cairns, Surfers paradise, Port Macquire and Brisbane. Cairns and Melbourne were my two favourite cities. Stayed in many hostels. The good, the bad and the downright ugly. Too many to count as we moved about every 2-4 days. Tried surfing twice(fun), ziplining (boring), snokerlling (fun but you need to be a good swimmer to really enjoy it) Went to a water park called wet and wild just outside surfer's paradise and it was funnnn! Tried kangaroo meat and crocodile meat and I couldn't even manage the teeny tiny piece. Definitely not for me hehe. Infamous hippie central Byron Bay. Kompis Awesome bike in Sydney. Chai drink break at the market in Tasmania Tie dye in Bryon Bay Typical hostel breakfast before we hit the road again. Sunning in Brisbane Byron Bay Amazing aquarium in Sydney

Dublin.

Hi guys!
Here's some pictures from my recent visit to Ireland. Flew back from Australia via Dublin so I was home for St Patricks day. It was a short visit but great. Got to see my friends and family because I won't be seeing them till June.
PS: I will do an Oz post very soon. I have so many pictures from backpacking for 6weeks so I think i'll do it in parts. x

Still here!

Sorry for not blogging for so long there. My 6week adventure backpacking around Australia is coming to an end. I haven't been able to able to blog properly. The wifi has been an absolute nightmare in Australia. Expensive to get and when I did get it, it was super slow but then again I did stay in hostels so that's probably why. Anyways having/had a great time. Currently in Brisbane and we are flying back Ireland tommorow. Longggg journey. Here are some random pictures from Australia and I'll do a proper post when I get some decent internet. PS: It's 11pm in Brisbane. I am actually in the town square where they offer free wifi (score!!) totally worth it even though it means having to sit near some shady characters including junkies. I'm sitting here like clutching on to my iPad and IPhone. Ok gtg theres two huge cockroaches trying to crawl up my leg!! PPS: A big hiii to my new followers! xx

31.1

Trying to do some packing for Australia and I have a very hard time deciding what to bring. Need to travel light because we will be more or less backpacking but I'm like I NEED at least four pairs of shoes. I'm travelling for five weeks afterall haha. Aside from the trials of fitting the very best of your wardrobe into a small backpack, here are some of my favourite swimsuits and bikinis. A perfect mix of vintage and new. I will ofcourse need to cut down on the amount but then again swimsuits don't take up that much space do they hehe. I am really trying to find the right balance because I am so fickle with clothes. My tastes change everyday. Sometimes I like bright colours and other times I get a slightly more minimalist palette (never thought I'd say that) Either my "style" is evolving or just all over the place because I still love me some jazzy prints ahh. Oh did I also mention that I will be home in Ireland for a few days before and a week after Australia so I have to somehow fit winter clothes in there as well. How do you guys deal with packing? Easy breezy or nightmare? x
